A Boston gangster’s high-placed mole in the Boston police finds out the department has planted a mole of its own inside the gang. American remake of the Hong Kong cult thriller Infernal Affairs (Andrew Lau & Alan Mak, 2002) that actually improves on the original, with tighter scripting, generally solid performances and the director’s usual visual bravado making up for any lost originality.
