Tie Saam Gok
(Hong Kong, 2007, 93 minutes)
Three drinking buddies with money problems find themselves between a rock and a hard place when they accept to dig up a forgotten safe that may hold treasure. Lively if implausible action-thriller that brings together three of Hong Kong's greatest directing stylists; each one directed a third of the movie, picking up from what the previous had done. That it holds together as well as it does is a surprise.
