The Visitor

A stuffy, widowed college professor from Connecticut learns to live again through the friendship of the illegal immigrants he finds squatting in his New York apartment. Uneasy but endearing combination of quiet, uplifting melodrama and “problem picture” that works thanks to its impressive acting and attention to character.
