A struggling, gambling-addicted night-club impresario spends a fateful night dodging unpaid strippers, a screeching landlady and a lack of customers. Episodic bitter-sweet comedy of night life, mostly improvised by the game all-star cast, that hides a true appreciation of losers and showmen under an unimpressive and uninspired series of sketches that stretch well beyond their breaking point.
