Doomsday

(USA/Great Britain/Germany/South Africa, 2008, 109 minutes)

Thirty years after a lethal virus wiped out most of Scotland, a crack military team is sent covertly into Glasgow to try and find if there is a cure. Deliberately derivative action comic with horror and sci-fi elements that quotes openly from earlier and better movies but manages to meld them confidently into a fun, fast-paced, trashy whole.
