Les Plages d'Agnès
The Beaches of Agnès
(France, 2008, 111 minutes)
Upon reaching 80, French photographer and filmmaker Agnès Varda looks back on her life and work. Enchanting, whimsical memoir of a well-lived life, done with wit, flair and originality, but nevertheless a bit too specialized for general consumption.
