In 1963 Rome, a suburban teenager comes of age between her Communist Party affiliation inherited from her late father, her hated conservative stepdad, her epileptic brother obsessed with the Russian space program and her passion for a schoolmate who only has eyes for the class beauty. Charming and affecting period coming-of-age comedy with an impeccable script and wonderful performances from the ensemble cast.
