Les Égarés

Strayed

(France/Great Britain, 2003, 95 minutes)

In 1940, during the days of the German invasion of France, a widow and her two children escaping Paris befriend a young wanderer who leads them to a safe house away from danger, and where they build a seemingly normal family life. Intriguing melodrama that explores its director’s usual themes of human relationships with his usual talent.
