Snow Angels

(USA, 2006, 106 minutes)

A high school student finds himself falling in love with a school mate just as his parents are divorcing and a co-worker at the restaurant where he part-times is having a hard time separating from her husband. Alternately sensitive and harrowing minor-key mosaic drama that cleverly sidesteps the genre clichés while providing many well-observed, well-acted and well-scripted pleasures.
