On a Clear Day

(Great Britain, 2004, 98 minutes)

A newly laid-off, middle-aged Glaswegian decides to swim across the English Channel. Amiably cheerful but predictable crowd-pleasing little comedy in the British tradition of The Full Monty, without any distinguishing features beyond the solid acting.
