Sunshine

(Great Britain/USA, 2007, 106 minutes)

In the near future, a space mission is sent towards our dying sun with a bomb to reignite the star, but things unravel when they receive a distress beacon from an earlier mission that was lost. Tightly wound, dazzlingly stylish sci-fi suspenser that recycles a number of formulas from earlier pictures in such a way as to make it look fresh and exciting.
