The Kovak Box

(Spain/Great Britain, 2006, 108 minutes)

In Mallorca for a conference, a science-fiction writer is devastated when his fiancee jumps to her death from a bedroom window, but soon realises similar “suicides” are taking place all over the island and may be connected to the plot of the first novel he wrote. Intriguing mystery with a jumble of clever ideas that make for an uneven script, but still provide some unusually thoughtful genre entertainment.

Filmax Entertainment presents a Estudios Picasso/Castelao Productions production in co-production with Future Films, with the participation of Telecinco, TV3, ICO, Institut Catala de Finances and Generalitat de Barcelona.
