Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

(USA, 1958, 108 minutes)

A Southern family crisis erupts when the dying father returns home to find his favourite son refusing to sleep with his wife and his second son conniving to get the property. Excellent if sanitized filming of a controversial play, with exquisite performances.
