A widower and her three grown-up children return to her native country for a family wedding and find themselves embroiled in the blood feud that drove her away in the first place. Muddled melodrama that aims for operatic tragedy but, despite seductive visuals and a couple of good performances, has neither the chops nor the ideas to pull it through successfully.
