COLD SOULS

USA/France
2008
101 minutes

A New York actor having problems with his rehearsals for Chekhov's Uncle Vanya decides to try out a new medical procedure that extracts your soul; but when the results aren't quite what he expected and he wants his soul back, he finds it's been stolen by a Russian soul-trafficking gang. Slyly absurdist, melancholy comedy of modern emotions, smoothly handled and performed.
