SCHASTYE MOIE

My Joy

128 minutes

A trucker gets drawn into the heart of darkness of the Russian heartland. Bleak, moody drama whose narrative resolves itself into a series of loosely arranged tableaux on the Russian psyche, betraying its writer/director's documentary background; formally dazzling, but probably far too oblique for general viewers.
