A young Kazakh newly discharged from military service and living with his sister in the steppes dreams of founding his own family – but the object of his affection refuses to marry him and he feels he is not made for the nomadic open-air life. Sweet, quirky coming-of-age comedy-drama with a strong documentary feel, using non-professional talent cast on location.
